final blog!

        Here we are, almost at the end of this semester. Fourteen weeks have passed by so fast. Since the first day of the Professional Writing class, I had a really good feeling 😌. I felt that it was going to be one of those classes with light-hearted and interesting discussions🙋. I really enjoyed this term because I have gained so much knowledge in just a period of three-and-a-half months. The class really exceeded my expectations.

        However, when I first found out that the class would mostly have group work, I panicked 😫. The one thing I despise the most about university life is working in a group. I had so many situations in the past where I was in a group, and I had to do all of the work by myself. Nevertheless, to my surprise, I actually enjoyed the group work. I got to meet and know four amazing ladies that I now call friends. Roza🖤, Razan💚, Rodah💛, and Alaa💙: you guys ROCK💜!

for me this time 😹

        In addition to gaining new friends, I learned many important things that I didn’t really consider in the past. For example, I didn’t give much thought before to making a résumé or a CV, but now I’m really glad that I was able to work on them in this class 👍. I learned to take my future plans more seriously and prepare for them professionally, and I’m happy that I got to do this now at such a perfect time 👌. I only have one more semester left and I will be graduating next year Inshallah 🔜🎓, so now I feel more prepared for the near future. I'm glad that I now have the knowledge and skills to be able to create a high-quality resume and cover letter for any job I apply to in the future. My plan for the next term will be to focus all of my time and effort 💪💫 on my graduation subject: the Capstone. I’m setting a goal to challenge myself and put all of my energy into this next phase of my life. I know I can do it💁, and I am going to DO IT!
